Australia wins the T20 World Championship They beat Bangladesh by eight wickets. Australia beat Bangladesh with 73 runs in the Super 12 match in Dubai. Sampa took 5 wickets for 19 runs. Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood each took two wickets.

Australia was thrown for just over 6.2 overs. Captain Aaron Finch (40 of 20 balls) and David Warner (18 of 14 balls) bet 58 for the first wicket. Warner’s innings consisted of four sixes and two fours.

With the win, Australia made the semifinals more active. Bangladesh has already been eliminated. Bangladesh have lost all 5 games they have played. England secured the semi-finals by winning all four games. Australia are second in Group One with three points from four games. With 6 points, South Africa ranks third behind Australia in terms of run rates. Apart from Bangladesh, the West Indies and Sri Lanka are unlikely to reach the semi-finals.
