New Delhi: Ravi Shastri, who is retiring as the coach of the Indian cricket team after the T20 World Cup, is reportedly getting big offers from IPL teams. Shastri excelled as an Indian coach. The franchises are also aiming for a reputation as a retired national team coach. If Shastri resigns, Rahul Dravid will become India’s new coach. Dravid will lead the series against New Zealand.

Shastri is followed by two newcomers to the IPL. According to some national media reports, the Ahmedabad team has had talks with Shastri and could soon sign an agreement. It is expected to be officially announced after the World Cup. Along with Shastri, Bharat Arun and R Sreedhar, who were part of the Indian coaching staff, will join the Ahmedabad team.

CVC Capitals has started to form one of the best teams in the IPL. The team will appoint a coaching staff and other employees before the start of the mega auction. Two franchises are new to the IPL for the next season. In addition to Ahmedabad, Lucknow will also join the IPL. The Lucknow team has been taken over by RPSG, which is owned by Sanjeev Goenke. Rs 7,090 crore was spent on it. CVC Capitals spent Rs 5,625 crore on the Ahmedabad team.
