Jaipur Forgetting their poor performance in the ICC T20 World Cup, India would like to do well in the three-match T20 series against New Zealand at the Sawai Singh Stadium from today. The first T20 match between India and New Zealand will be played today at 7 pm at the Sawai Singh Stadium in Jaipur. The other two matches will be played on Friday and Sunday.

Players like Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah have been rested. New young players have been taken in their place. Importantly, Venkatesh Iyer, Rituraj Gaikwad, Avesh Khan and Harshal Patel were seen as a rising star in the second phase of IPL 2021. He has been selected in the Indian team on the basis of his performance. Also spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who was dropped from the World Cup squad.

Chahal has a good chance of making a place in the team again. T20 captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid said, ‘We have to ensure that our team is in the T20 format like any other team in developing countries. “I think building a team is very important,” Sharma said. That’s all we have to do and we have time to do it. There are certainly some drawbacks that one should try to address. It would be best for our team.

He also clarified on the poor batting in the World Cup. Along with this, the Indian team decides who will bat where. We want to assign new roles to players. Hope they do, because ultimately your performance matters. New Zealand, on the other hand, have only three days to prepare after losing the final against Australia. Kane Williamson has been ruled out of the T20I series to focus on the Test series. Tim Saud has been made the new captain of the team.

However, to do well against India, one has to deal with a hectic schedule. They would like to give chances to Kyle Jasmine, Mark Chapman and Todd Astle, who have not played a single match in the T20 World Cup. Lockie Ferguson was injured after playing the match.
