KL Rahul jumps in the ranking list; 18 places in a row; Bumra and Shami also benefited

Indian opener KL Rahul, who scored an impressive century in the first Test against South Africa, has moved up in the latest ICC test rankings. Centurion’s century helped Rahul jump 18 places in a row. Rahul is currently ranked 31st in the test racket ranking. Mayank Agarwal, who scored half a century in the first innings of the First Test, moved up one place to 11th place while Ajinkya Rahane moved up two places to 25th. Bumra, who won a total of 5 wickets in the match, moved up three places to ninth place, while Mohammad Shami, who won 8 wickets, jumped two places to 17th place. The South Africans who excelled in the Centurion tests have also been included in the new ranking. Kagiso Rabada, who picked up seven wickets, jumped one place to sixth in the bowlers’ rankings, while MGD, who picked up eight wickets, slipped 16 places to 30th place.
