Moonmoon is still in jail on bail; Lawyers claim there is no money on bail

Mumbai: Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchant, arrested in connection with a drug party on a cruise to Goa, were released on bail on Saturday. Both left Arthur Road prison to move to their respective homes, but Munmun Dhamecha, who was arrested in the same case, is still in prison. The court has requested a deposit of Rs one lakh. But Moonmoon has not yet been released as she has not been offered that much money.

According to the Times of India, Moonmoon Dhame’s lawyers are now trying to secure their bail by paying cash. He has filed an application with the Mumbai High Court. Munmun Dhamecha is from Madhya Pradesh. As a result, she has difficulty getting bail and raising funds.

Mumbai High Court Judge Nitin Sambre has asked Moonmoon’s attorneys to file the motion with the Holiday Court. Earlier, during a dispute in the Supreme Court, Moonmoon’s attorney Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh alleged that her arrest was unlawful. He also said that when Moonmoon was arrested by the NCB while on a cruise, she did not find or even use drugs. On the contrary, NCBN searched the cruise just minutes after it arrived.

Khan also said in his argument that there were two people named Soumya Singh and Baldev in the room where Moonmoon was on the cruise. But why only Munmun was arrested by NCB.
