Pakistan’s alias Most Wanted Terrorist was eliminated in Afghanistan. A senior Pakistani military official said Mohammad Khurasani was killed in Nangarhar province. However, no information was given on how Khurasani died. Mohammad Khurasani was a senior leader of the Forbidden Terrorism Organization (TTP) in Pakistan. Mohammad Khurasani, 50, was also a TTP spokesman, according to Pakistani officials. Khurasani was actively involved in a number of attacks on Pakistani civilians and security forces. According to official reports, the Taliban have made several trips to Kabul since taking power in Afghanistan. Mohammad Khurasani, a resident of Gilgit-Baltistan, has been the TTP’s operational commander for many years. In 2007 he joined the banned terrorist group Tehreek-e-Nifaz Shariat-e-Muhammadi in the Swat Valley. He had developed close relationships with former TTP group leader Mulla Fazlullah. According to official sources, Khurasani operated a terrorist hideout in the city of Miramshah in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. However, he fled to Afghanistan after Operation Zarb-e-Ajab. It is noteworthy that TTP is also known as an “organization”. It is a banned and active terrorist organization on the Afghan-Pakistani border. The group has so far been involved in several attacks in Pakistan. The group uses Afghan territory to plan terrorist attacks against Pakistan.
