Giving information about this, the PMO tweeted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the challenges of sustainable development and climate change with Bill Gates at the COP-26 summit. Bill Gates has previously supported India’s Sustainable Development Goals since its foundation. Particular attention is being paid to issues like health, sanitation and agriculture.

On Monday, Bill Gates said he believed innovation would be the main focus of this year’s UN climate summit. Bill Gates tweeted that development can be achieved by bringing the world together in COP-26. In May last year, Bill Gates spoke to PM Modi through video conferencing and had an important discussion on the Koro epidemic.

In November 2019, Bill Gates met the Prime Minister in Delhi. At that time, PM Modi had said that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is contributing towards making the earth a habitable place.
