Small bumps are usually found on the upper arms, thighs, cheeks. The skin with bumps looks dry. Seasonal skin dries out. Usually no treatment is needed to remove keratosis pilaris. You can still consult a family doctor or dermatologist.

Keratosis pilaris is caused by a buildup of keratin. It is a hard protein that protects the skin from harmful substances and infections. Which is found in our hair and nails. It has many layers, but if the top layer of keratin is damaged, then its effect is seen on our other organs, causing spots on the skin.
