Yuvraj Singh’s blast will be seen on the pitch again in 2022

Highlights:

  • Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement from international cricket in 2019.
  • He is currently playing league cricket around the world.
  • Now he has announced his return to cricket in February next year.

New Delhi: Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement from international cricket in a press conference in 2019. Yuvraj was counted among the best all-rounders of limited overs. His batting was amazing and he was also a very useful player in bowling. Though the golden phase of Yuvraj’s career has passed, his fans believe that he can still retire.

Although Yuvraj Singh’s fans did not see him in Team India’s blue jersey after retirement, he is playing league cricket around the world with the approval of BCCI. Yuvraj was also seen playing in the Road Safety Series this year.

But now it seems that Yuvraj is ready to return to cricket.

39-year-old Yuvraj has posted a bang on Instagram. He said that he is returning to cricket in February next year.

Yuvraj wrote, ‘God decides your fate!! I’ll be back on the pitch at people’s request, probably in February! There is no other feeling like this! Thank you for all your love and prayers. It means a lot to me. Keep supporting the Indian team, it is our team and true fans keep showing their support for the team in difficult times.

It is not clear from Yuvraj’s post that he is talking about returning to the Indian team in the T20 league. It is also possible that he is talking about some road safety series. However, you will have to wait till February to know this.

Team India is going through a difficult phase at the moment. After losing to Pakistan and New Zealand in the T20 World Cup, it has become difficult for India to reach the semi-finals. Earlier, Virat Kohli had announced his resignation from the T20 captaincy and he is likely to be stripped of his ODI captaincy. At that time the announcement of Yuvraj Singh’s return to cricket had created a lot of controversy.
